  • Thermal Arc® Thermal Arc® 186 AC/DC TIG Welder features AC and DC output for aluminum and non-ferrous alloys. Wave Balance is adjustable for optimized penetration or cleaning action when welding on aluminum. It provides non contact arc that eliminates tungsten or material contamination and optimized TIG arc starting without the use of high frequency. It offers independent control over shielding gas before and after the weld. It eliminates cracking and ensures fusion at arc starts for both TIG and Stick processes. It has adjustable arc force and hot start control for optimum stick electrode performance. It shuts down the power source to protect the internal electrical components from overheating.
