Item Details

  • SPECIAL METALS Inconel® 182 ENiCrFe-3 1/8" Dia X 14" Nickel Alloy Welding Electrode offering good oxidation comes in 10 lb hermetically sealed container and has high temperature strength. Welding electrode is used to weld INCOLY alloys to carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, MONEL alloys and meets AWS, ASME and ISO standards. Electrode makes use of direct current and provides excellent operability for groove/fillet welding in the downhand position. It also meets stringent radiographic requirements.

Features

  • The weld metal has excellent high temperature strength and oxidation resistance and can meet radiographic requirements
  • Dissimilar welds for which the electrode are used include INCONEL alloys and INCOLOY alloys joined to carbon steels, stainless steels, nickel and MONEL alloys, MONEL alloys joined to carbon steels, nickel joined to stainless steels, and stainless steel joined to carbon steel

Benefits

  • The electrodes provide excellent operability for groove and fillet welding in the downhand position and the smaller diameter electrodes are also suitable for all position welding

Specifications

  • AWS A5.11
  • ASME II, SFA-5.11
  • ASME IX, F-NO. 43

Applications

  • INCONEL welding electrode 182 is used for shielded metal arc welding of INCONEL alloys 600 and 601

Caution

  • Keep your head out of the fumes
  • Use enough ventilation or exhaust at the arc to keep fumes and gases from your breathing zone, and the general area
  • Wear correct eye, ear and body protection
  • Do not touch live electrical parts
