Stoody® 31 CTD 5/32" Dia x 14" Hard Facing Electrode comes in a 10 lb vac pak and provides an outstanding balance of abrasion resistance and impact strength. Electrode is used in bucket arms, chain links, rolling mill guides, pulleys, scrapers, buckets and blades manufacturing industries. Tubular electrode with alloying elements features an extruded coating. Deposits have a low coefficient of friction and render good resistance to corrosion and heat. Shielded metal arc welding electrode offers excellent weldability that is perfect for out of position work with complete slag coverage. Electrode can be applied to carbon, low alloy and manganese steels. It works on AC or DC using stringer or weave beads.
