RADNOR™ P/3™ S-6 MIG Welding Wire made from copper coated carbon steel provides an excellent weld quality which has attracted many users. Wire with a 0.035" Dia offers a fluid puddle and a good wash-in at weld toes. Flat weld beads reduces defects, scrap or re-work and using this excellent wire is a great choice for short circuit, globular, axial spray and spray transfer welding. Exceptional spatter control and bead profile is achieved by this wire which also works well for welding steel with light mill scale and light rust or thin oil. It conforms to AWS 5.18 and is ideal for HVAC duct work, single-pass welds on sheet metal applications or multiple pass welds on thick sections. Welding on metals with a medium-to-high presence of dirt, rust or mill scale makes use of this wire which comes in a 33 lb masonite spool.
