Lincoln Electric® SuperGlaze® Aluminum MIG Wire with 3/64" Dia providing lower melting point with high fluidity and comes in a 16 lb spool. It produces minimum sensitive to weld cracking with higher surface finish for optimum surface integrity and can be used in sustained elevated more than 150 deg F temperature service. All position welding wire is perfect for heat-treatable base alloys welding by rendering favorable operating characteristics and produces uniform physical characteristics by controlling the alloy chemical composition. It is ideal for welding with 100% argon/helium mixture shielding gas in 30-50 CFH flow rate and find its applications in bicycle frames, automotive components such as frame and drive shafts and in welding with casting alloys. It meets AWS A5.10/A5.10M: 1999 ER4043 and ASME SFA-A5.10: ER4043.
Features
Our manufacturing process precisely controls the alloy chemical composition to produce consistent physical characteristics
Our proprietary process gives SuperGlaze a superior surface finish for optimum surface integrity
Benefits
Designed for welding heat treatable base alloys and more specifically the 6XXX series alloys
Lower melting point and more fluidity than the 5XXX series filler alloys
Low sensitivity to weld cracking with the 6XXX series base alloys
Suitable for sustained elevated temperature service, i.e. above 65°C (150°F)
