Item Details

  • Hobart® MaxalMig Aluminum Filler Metals MIG Wire with 3/64" Dia rendering magnificent ductility/fatigue strength and very high toughness comes in a 16 lb wire basket. 38 ksi High strength wire ideally designed for general purpose welding has moderate ductility/formability along with lower electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. It is associated with ER5356 class of wire. It is typically used in the construction industry in fabricating truck trailers, small fishing boats and in cryogenic applications. It has higher column strength/better feedability with superior color match after anodizing with 5xxx/6xxx base materials. It finds applications in 5086 and lower strength alloys with 35 ksi minimum UTS, truck frames, shipbuilding and rail cars/bus panels.
