  • Lincolnweld Flux 980 An excellent choice for fabricators who desire one flux for automatic and semiautomatic welding throughout the shop.

Features

  • High operator appeal due to exceptional resistance to flash-through and porosity caused by arc blow.
  • Neutral type flux so alloy buildup is limited in multiple pass welds at high voltages even on plate one inch thick.
  • Agglomerated for consistent flux particle composition and consistent weld deposit chemistry
  • Typically, agglomerated fluxes will have up to 30% lower flux consumption than their fused flux counterparts.

Applications

  • Semiautomatic welding
  • Good single pass weld properties with Lincolnweld L-50 and LC-72 wires.
  • Multiple pass welding
