Item Details

  • 3M™ Series 528 Tan 85 mil Impact Stripping Tape measuring 6" X 20 yd has clean cutting, easy alignment, easy blast-through, good adhesion, cuts evenly and clean visible cut marks. Tape has rubber backing with acrylic adhesive and a tan easy-release paper liner for added protection, paint stripping, media blasting, edge protection, surface protection. It has it's applications in grit blasting, glass etching, sandblast, shape carving, monument blasting, headstone blasting, impact stripping, media blast and engraving.

Features

  • It is recommended that the temperature of the application surface is at least 40 deg F (4 deg C) or above
  • The application surface should be warm, clean, and dry to ensure
  • Rub down firmly when applying to achieve maximum adhesion to surface
  • Specially formulated rubber backing designed to withstand impact against common blasting media including aluminum oxide, steel shot, glass bead, and plastic media
  • Die-cuttable, easy-release liner
  • Acrylic adhesive for excellent adhesion to various surfaces
  • Tape may become difficult to remove
