Norton® SG BLAZE R980 SPEED-LOK® 60 Grit Ceramic Alumina TS Type II Cloth Disc has 1 1/2" Dia and is ideal for use with vertical shaft grinder. Disc features heavy-duty polyester Y-weight backing and is more aggressive offering durability, edge-fray resistance on tough applications as well as stainless steel. Disc has SPEED-LOK® fastener for quick, tool-free disc changes resulting in more grinding time. It locks to back-up pad and can be removed easily. Disc has SG ceramic alumina grain with self-lubricating, supersize treatment that offers coolest cut and faster cut rates. Supersized disc is suitable for use on contours or flat surfaces. It is perfect for light to medium pressure grinding, blending, leveling and finishing applications. It will twist on and twist off in 2 1/2 turns.
