Norton® Crystolon® Fine Grade Gray 3 1/2" X 3/4" X 1/2" Silicon Carbide Tool Abrasive Slip is designed for use in precision sharpening and honing of bead planers, curved knives and tools, molders knives and wood gouges. Rectangular carbide tool fast-acting slip holds its shape and is long lasting. Stones, manufactured with silicon carbide abrasives, are the best choice for quick sharpening where the speed in producing the edge is more important than the fineness of the cutting edge. Silicon carbide slip is generally used to maintain the edge of carbide tools keeping regrinding costs and time to an absolute minimum. It is sold as 20 per case.
