  • Norton® Crystolon® Fine Grade Gray 4" X 1/2" Silicon Carbide Square Abrasive File is designed for deburring, chamfering or radiusing job or for filing delicate parts. Square abrasive file holds its shape while imparting the finest, uniform finish on precision machine parts and in tool and die making. Stones, manufactured with silicon carbide abrasives, are the best choice for quick sharpening where the speed in producing the edge is more important than the fineness of the cutting edge. Square file applications range from dimensioning keyways to maintain fit, stoning faces on router bits, touching-up edges of reamer teeth and lapping/honing to close tolerances to produce the finest edge on precision instruments.
