MSA Thermalgard® Red Slotted Hard Cap with 1-Touch® suspension is made of glass-reinforced nylon for better tensile strength and stiffness at high temperature. Nylon shell comes with beaded edge for rigidity and has slots in cap that helps mounting hearing protection muffs, welding shields or face shields. Hard cap can resist heat loads up to 350 deg F and features smooth crown to use welding equipment easily. It is ideal for food processes, asbestos abatement electric utility hazardous materials paper and pulp spray painting. It meets ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009 Class G type I, CSA Z94.1-2005 specifications and SEI certifications.
