MSA Thermalgard® Yellow Class G Reinforced Nylon Slotted Hard Cap With Fas-Trac® Suspension offers protection in a high-strength, smooth crown helmet. Cap has nylon shell with beaded edge for improved rigidity and glass-reinforced nylon for use in elevated temperatures. This cap has smooth crown for easy use of MSA welding equipment and withstands radiant heat loads up to 350 deg F. Slots in the cap allow for mounting hearing protection muffs, welding shields and faceshields. Cap finds applications in painting, food processes, asbestos abatement, electric utility, hazardous materials paper and pulp spray painting. This ANSI type I cap can be customized with imprinting and striping and meets ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009, CSA Z94.1-2005 standards.
